Despite all of our talk and excitement about the spring trends ahead, winter is still in full swing and will be for at least a few more weeks. That’s bad news for any sandals or sundresses you may be coveting, but it’s great news for your winter coats and boots that are still begging to be worn. To make these last few weeks of winter feel like something to look forward to, I figured bringing a few seriously cool winter outfits to your attention would help.
And who better to look to for outfit inspiration than celebrities? After scanning through page after page of celeb photos, I noticed a few seriously chic outfits with boots that were too good not to showcase. From Hailey Bieber’s textured pants and square-toe boots to Selena Gomez’s zebra-print jacket and combat boots, below are the six best celebrity boot outfits everyone should try before spring.
On Hailey Bieber: Jil Sander blazer; Common Leisure pants; Yeezy boots. Hailey’s oversize blazer and sweatshirt paired with vinyl pants tucked into square-toe sock boots is an outfit combo I never would’ve thought of on my own but am so glad she put it on my radar. Especially if you already own some version of each of these items (leather pants would work just as well), re-creating this look should be a breeze.
On Margot Robbie: Leset Classic Margo Tee ($58); Chanel backpack; Dear Frances Park Boots ($495). Leave it to Margot Robbie to combine a few underrated basics and turn them into a seriously chic outfit. Her white T-shirt and jeans act as the perfect base to top off with a long coat and add combat boots for a bit of edge.
On Selena Gomez: Mango coat. Selena Gomez has been on a seriously stylish streak the past few months, and this outfit is no different. She chose one of the coziest coats I’ve ever laid eyes on to act as the perfect third piece to her turtleneck and jeans. Her combat boots make this outfit feel modern yet edgy at the same time.
On Chrissy Teigen: Loewe Belted Midi Coat ($4990); Saint Laurent Manhattan Tote Bag ($2150). Chrissy Teigen chose to combine two of 2020’s biggest trends into one outfit: leather separates and croc-effect boots. Her pairing paid off by giving her one of the best looks I’ve seen all winter.
On Emily Ratajkowski: Commission Fanny Top ($230); Wardrobe.NYC Release 03 Leggings ($260); Celine boots. EmRata is notorious for bringing us cool outfit ideas, and this leather blazer–and–red boot combo is on brand for her. She kept it feeling modern by adding a printed turtleneck underneath and unexpected leggings to finish it off.
On Gigi Hadid: Danielle Guizio leather pants; Dear Frances boots. Gigi Hadid’s outfit combination is another one that’s surprisingly easy to re-create. Simply grab a white tee, leather pants (or jeans), and knee-high boots. Throw an oversize blazer on top, and you’re set.
