Trust Me—Buy These 18 Things

Trust Me—Buy This is a monthly series where our market editor Nicole Eshaghpour makes her favorite real-life fashion finds shoppable for Who What Wear readers.

Hello and welcome to my monthly Trust Me—Buy This roundup! In case you’re new here, I’ll be sharing my favorite items of the moment with more of a personal spin than your usual shopping story. With a little help from my shopping-focused Instagram account, @trustmebuythis, where I post my own (mediocre) snaps of items I’m into at the moment, I get to both show and tell you what I’m really wearing every month. These special selects are the pieces I’ve been loving not only online, but IRL too.

Today, you can expect a mix of the usual easy, everyday items coupled with some special pieces I busted out for NYFW earlier this month. Since the winter weather hasn’t made its exit quite yet, the jackets, boots, and leather are still aplenty, but you will also find a couple of nods to spring’s impending arrival below by way of a cream bag and some fun flats. To see and shop everything that made the cut this time around, just keep scrolling.

Call me biased, but I absolutely cannot get over the fact that this adorable, on-trend, and expensive-looking bag is only $79.

Some of the more basic items I’ve been wearing on repeat this month are this cozy Donni henley, my go-to gold chain necklace, and these majorly marked-down Stuart Weitzman Chelsea boots that are the gift that keeps on giving.

Wearing this white coat feels like you’re stepping out in the chicest robe that ever existed. It’s soft and has a relaxed fit but simultaneously has an air of sophistication that makes any outfit look polished. I shouldn’t have been surprised, seeing as Totême has yet to fail me.

Here’s an NYFW look that I loved because it was easy, comfortable, and just very “me.” I paired this Tibi jacket (which conveniently is more like a shacket) with slim trousers and knee-high Ganni boots. I then topped it off with that Prada bag you’re seeing everywhere right now. It’s an outfit I definitely plan to repeat often.

I wore these sunglasses every day of NYFW and every day since. They’re the latest from Garrett Leight’s longtime collab with Clare V. and they’re the most perfect, easy black frames. The shirt is a Nanushka vegan leather one that I had been eyeing for a while. I love that the shirt works great when untied, too. It paired perfectly with these leather Aritzia pants I bought last month. (I have been wearing these nonstop since.)

I don’t wear flats often, so when I do, it’s only natural that they have heels made of pearls, right? But really, these comfortable loafers might just convert me and become a regular part of my rotation come spring.

This outerwear brand caught my attention thanks to EmRata (naturally). Here, I’ve swapped in the belt that the coat comes with for a rope style. Even if you just add your own belt to one of your existing puffers, you won’t believe what a difference a cinched waist makes. The pants are from Zara (currently on sale for $20), and I can’t recommend them enough. I made my mom and sister buy them, and my mom just told me she’s ordering a second pair because she loves them so much.

Next, nine basic outfits our editors wear over and over again.
